This dataset comprises raw and processed data generated during in vitro biofilm assays evaluating metabolic activity and biomass of mature biofilms exposed to ammoniacal niobium oxalate (ANO). In addition, the data set includes data on cytotoxicity, cells adhesion, biovolume and microbial load following exposition to ANO–based titanium coatings. The data support ongoing and future analyses related to biofilm–material interactions and the translational potential of ANO-based surfaces.
