| dc.description | Oral rinse samples from tuberculosis and non-tuberculosis individuals. Candida species were determined by polymerase chain reaction identified, and fungal burden by colony-forming units. Phospholipase, protease, and hemolysin assays were performed using the plate method with egg yolk, bovine serum albumin, and sheep blood agar media, respectively. Coagulase activity was measured using EDTA-rabbit plasma by a classical tube test. Antifungal resistance was determined by the minimum inhibitory concentration of fluconazole and amphotericin B by E-test. |
